Ronaldo’s Sister FIRES BACK at Antonio Cassano Over Shocking ‘Ball Boy’ Insult!

Antonio Cassano has launched a scathing attack on Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, saying that the 36-year-old “doesn’t know how to play football.” The former Real Madrid striker’s comments have seen him come under fire from his sister Elma Aveiro who cannot understand why anyone would criticise her younger sibling.

What Happened?

Cassano – who had already long left Real Madrid before Ronaldo arrived at the club in 2007 – made the sensational claim while speaking on the Viva El Futbol podcast.

This moment followed shortly after Ronaldo celebrated scoring the 900th goal of his illustrious career and shared his thoughts on the achievement. Even though Ronaldo is a legend, Cassano questioned the goal-poaching nature of 5-time Ballon d’Or winner which makes him less valuable compared to other strikers on top level.

Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t have a clue when it comes to playing soccer-said no one ever. I seriously do not care if he can score 3000 goals Higuain, Aguero, Benzema, Lewandowski and two old masters time had not quite left for dust; Ibrahimovic and Suarez all knew how to combine. They were complete, unlike Ronaldo – who will always score – but without any assists.

Elma Strikes Back

Ronaldo himself stayed silent though, but his sister Elma was not keeping quiet. Turning to Instagram, she responded furiously to the controversial remarks of Cassano.

These are the sort of things one wakes up to. I don’t know this poor guy. A boot perhaps but one for him – he won’t know how to score 900 goals. Imagine if he did. They say he was a footballer. He was like everyone says a ball boy…”Elma wrote, in a sarcastic response about Cassano’s identity as opposed to her brother’s success.

The Bigger Picture

It is not the first time that Elma has taken it upon herself to back Ronaldo, following any public backlash. Also, she never shies away from defending her brother and has always been quick to hand out brutal shocks whenever another player’s legacy gets compared to that of Bryant.

Well, not based on Ronaldo’s numbers, it appears so anyway according to Cassano. Cristiano Ronaldo has further solidified himself as a legend among legends, breaking record after record to ensure his place as one of the greatest footballers ever to grace the pitch with his recent 900th club and country goal. No one in the world is better at scoring top-flight goals in different leagues and he is a key part of Al-Nassr’s squad as they compete for more silverware domestically.

What’s Next for Ronaldo?

Ronaldo, 39, Not Slowing Down Already with four goals to his name this season, the Al-Nassr forward has been a key figure in helping his club top the Saudi Pro League. Al-Nassr are currently third in the league table and Ronaldo will be back in action as they host Qatari club Al-Rayyan in their next AFC Champions League match.

Cassano’s comments may have caused a stir, but Ronaldo continues to keep his mind on his game with Elma by his side as proof he could not care less about clear critics.

Ultimately, Ronaldo is still running his mouth where it matters most: in the playing field.
